Diagon Alley in the Harry Potter films was primarily filmed in Leadenhall Market in London for "Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone." The covered pathways of Leadenhall Market stood in for Diagon Alley, including the entrance to the Leaky Cauldron through a distinctive blue door at Bull’s Head Passage. Later films also used Borough Market for the entrance to the Leaky Cauldron. Additionally, the actual Diagon Alley movie set, where many scenes were filmed, is located at the Warner Brothers Studios in Leavesden. Some other London locations like Cecil Court and Godwin's Court are also considered inspirations or stand-ins for Diagon Alley in the films and tours.
