Jonathan Bailey did not perform on stage for the Wicked: One Wonderful Night NBC special. He was in London filming a project and had scheduling commitments that prevented his on-stage appearance at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles on Sept. 24, 2025; however, a pre-recorded segment featuring Bailey discussing his auditions was included, and other cast members performed “Dancing Through Life” in his stead. Bailey also recorded at least one segment for the program to ensure his character, Prince Fiyero, remained represented in the broadcast.
