They Cloned Tyrone was primarily filmed in Atlanta, Georgia. The production took place at Blackhall Studios (now known as Shadowbox Studios) in Atlanta, with additional scenes shot in South Los Angeles and at Kenny's Liquor in Los Angeles, California. Principal photography began in November 2020 and wrapped up in April 2021
