The site also called the "Taj Mahal of the Deccan" is Bibi Ka Maqbara, located in Aurangabad, Maharashtra, India. It is a 17th-century mausoleum built by Prince Azam Shah in memory of his mother, Rabia-ul-Durrani, and bears a striking resemblance to the Taj Mahal of Agra, which is why it is known as the Taj of the Deccan or the Mini Taj Mahal. The monument is considered the most beautiful example of Mughal architecture in the Deccan region and is often called the Poor Man's Taj Mahal due to the use of plaster alongside marble, unlike the Taj Mahal which is made entirely of marble.
