The selected educators who act as coaches and mentors of Practice Teachers (PTs) in their teaching internship program at the partner or laboratory schools of Teacher Education Institutions (TEIs) are known as Mentor Teachers or Cooperating Teachers. These educators are well-qualified and adequately motivated teachers identified by the partner or laboratory schools to guide and supervise the PTs during their internship. They participate in orientation workshops organized by the TEI and contribute to the development and implementation of the internship plan. Their responsibilities include providing continuous supervision, guidance, and assessment of the PTs' performance using various assessment tools, as well as facilitating the PTs' gradual induction into full teaching responsibilities
