Charlie Kirk was an American right-wing political activist, entrepreneur, and media personality known for founding Turning Point USA (TPUSA) in 2012 at the age of 18. He created TPUSA as a conservative youth organization to promote free markets, limited government, and conservative principles on college campuses across the United States. Kirk rose to prominence as a vocal supporter and key figure in the MAGA movement alongside former President Donald Trump and was known for his campus debates, rallies, and media presence, including hosting "The Charlie Kirk Show." He was also recognized for mobilizing young voters and expanding TPUSA into one of the largest conservative political organizations targeting young people. Kirk was assassinated in 2025 while speaking at a college event, and since then, he has been regarded as an icon of contemporary conservatism.
