Dan and Phil are an English entertainment and business duo consisting of Daniel Howell and Philip Lester. They are best known for their collaborative work on YouTube since starting in 2009, as well as their joint projects in television, radio, books, tours, and original films. They met on the internet and in person in 2009 and have lived together since 2011, first in Manchester, then in London. In 2019, both came out as gay in separate YouTube videos.
