Rocky Marciano is the only heavyweight boxing champion to retire undefeated, finishing his career at 49-0 with 43 knockouts. He won the heavyweight title in 1952 and, after defending it several times, announced his retirement in 1956 while still the champion, leaving with an undefeated record.
