Steve McNair was killed by his girlfriend, Sahel "Jenni" Kazemi, in a murder- suicide in July 2009. Kazemi shot McNair multiple times while he was likely asleep on a couch, including shots to the head and chest. After killing McNair, she then shot herself in the head and collapsed onto his lap. The incident occurred in McNair's condominium in Nashville.
