Cadbury chocolate is owned by Mondelēz International, a multinational confectionery company. Mondelēz International acquired Cadbury in 2010 when Kraft Foods (which later rebranded part of its business as Mondelēz) bought the British chocolate company. Cadbury is now one of Mondelēz International's key brands and is headquartered in Greater London but operates globally.
In the United States, Cadbury-branded chocolate is manufactured and distributed by The Hershey Company due to a separate licensing agreement, but the overall ownership of the Cadbury brand remains with Mondelēz International.
