Rupert Murdoch’s News Corp owns the New York Post through its subsidiary NYP Holdings. The Post has been part of News Corp since the early 1990s, after Murdoch acquired it in 1976 and subsequent corporate changes placed it under News Corp (now the conglomerate often referred to simply as News Corp).
