The "traitors castle" used in the TV series The Traitors is Ardross Castle, located in Scotland. It is currently owned by the McTaggart family, who acquired the estate in 1983 and have renovated it since then. The castle is set on about 100 acres of gardens and parkland near Alness, Scotland. Though the castle is famously featured in the show, it is not owned by the show host Alan Cumming nor is it a hotel, but it occasionally hosts events like weddings. The McTaggart family still owns the castle today and they allow the show to film there, which has brought significant attention to the property and local area.
