Your Spotify Wrapped usually doesn’t show up for one of a few common reasons: you might not be eligible this year, the feature is still rolling out or glitching, or there’s an issue with your app or account.
Common reasons it’s missing
- You didn’t meet the listening requirements (for recent years this has meant roughly: enough minutes streamed, at least dozens of tracks and multiple artists over the year; very light or very new accounts often don’t get Wrapped).
- It hasn’t fully rolled out to your account yet or servers are overloaded, so the banner just isn’t appearing even though others see theirs.
- Wrapped isn’t available for your current region or account country due to local restrictions or privacy rules.
- You’re only checking on desktop; the full Wrapped “story” is primarily designed for the mobile app (iOS/Android), with desktop sometimes lagging or only showing playlists.
Quick things to try
- Update Spotify to the latest version, then fully close and reopen the app; outdated apps are one of the main causes of Wrapped not appearing.
- On your phone, go to the Search tab and type “Wrapped” or “2025 Wrapped”; in some cases this opens the story even when the home banner is missing.
- Make sure you’re on the right account (people often have an old login with almost no listening data where Wrapped will not generate).
- Try on mobile instead of desktop, or log in via your mobile browser to the Spotify web player and look for Wrapped there.
If it still doesn’t show
- Check that your phone has enough storage and that Spotify has the needed permissions; low storage or blocked background activity can stop the Wrapped story from loading properly.
- If you recently moved to a country where Wrapped isn’t supported, or your account region is set to such a country, you may not get it at all this year.
- If your listening this year was minimal or the account is very new, there may simply be no Wrapped for that account; listening more through the year is the only fix for next time.
If you tell roughly what you’re seeing (e.g., “no banner,” “blank purple screen,” “desktop only”), a more tailored checklist can be suggested.
