RaKai, a popular teenage Twitch streamer known as 2xRaKai, received a 730-day suspension (two years) on December 2, 2025, for "Illegal Activities," marking his fourth ban on the platform.
Primary Incident
During a recent IRL stream at Walmart, RaKai picked up a bouquet of flowers, handed it to a woman as a gift, and claimed he had paid for it when questioned, but viewers accused him of shoplifting without purchase. This act of allegedly stealing and streaming it live violated Twitch's rules against broadcasting real-world crimes.
Contributing Factors
The ban followed closely after a Fortnite wager stream where RaKai lost to Clix, refused to pay the $6,500 debt, and used abusive language on stream. RaKai has a history of violations, including a prior ban in June 2025 for recklessly driving underage while texting and streaming.
Recent Update
As of December 4, 2025, Twitch stated the two-year ban display was a visual bug, with the actual suspension being shorter, though specifics remain unconfirmed.
