Discord’s “year in review” is a new built‑in recap feature called Discord Checkpoint , which works like a Spotify Wrapped for your Discord activity.

What Discord Checkpoint Is

Discord Checkpoint is a personalized recap that shows stats such as total messages sent, time spent in voice, most‑used emojis, most active servers, and who you DM’d the most. It is Discord’s first official year‑end summary and is being rolled out globally to users as a 2025 feature.

How to See Your Year in Review

On desktop , you open Discord and click the small flag/Checkpoint icon in the top‑right of the app to start your recap. On mobile , go to the “You” tab at the bottom‑right and tap the Checkpoint banner that appears when your recap is available.

Requirements and Limitations

You need to be on the latest version of the Discord app for Checkpoint to appear. If you do not see it, either your account did not have enough activity this year to generate stats, or you have turned off the setting that allows Discord to use your data to personalize the experience.

What You Can Share

At the end of Checkpoint, Discord gives you a shareable card containing some highlight stats that you can post in chats or on social media. More sensitive info, like the exact person you DM the most, is kept private and does not appear on the shared card.
