To make a call with No Caller ID (i.e., to hide your phone number when calling someone), you can do the following:

• For a single call, dial *67 before entering the phone number you want to call (including area code), then press call. This will block your number from being displayed temporarily for that call

• To turn off caller ID for all calls on an iPhone: go to Settings > Phone > Show My Caller ID and toggle it off

• To turn off caller ID for all calls on Android: open the Phone app, go to Settings > Calls > Additional settings > Caller ID, and select "Hide number" or "Never"

If you want to call back a number that called you with No Caller ID, it is generally not possible because the caller deliberately blocked their number. However, dialing *69 may call back the last private number that called you and sometimes reveal the number if your carrier supports it

. Note that carriers keep records of these calls but do not disclose them to customers except under legal circumstances
