YouTube Recap (also called YouTube Wrapped) is a personalized annual summary of your viewing habits, available in early December each year, such as for 2025.

Access on Mobile App

Open the YouTube app while logged in, tap the "You" tab at the bottom, and look for the "Your Recap is here!" banner just below your profile. Tap it to view and play your custom recap video based on watch history.

Access on Web/Desktop

Visit youtube.com/recap in your browser, or check the YouTube homepage or "You" tab for the recap banner. Click to open it directly in the app if prompted, ensuring you're logged into the same account.

Share Your Recap

After viewing, use the share options in the app or web to post your recap on social media or send it to friends. Recaps are generated automatically from your activity and may not appear if watch history is limited.
