To gameshare on PlayStation (PS4 or PS5), the main step is to activate the primary console setting for the account that owns the digital games. On PS4:
- Log in to the PlayStation Network (PSN) account that owns the games.
- Go to Settings > Account Management > Activate as Your Primary PS4.
- Select "Activate". This makes the console the primary one for this account.
- Other users on the same console can then access and play the games owned by the primary account.
On PS5:
- Sign in to the account with the games.
- Go to Settings > Users and Accounts > Other > Console Sharing and Offline Play.
- Enable Console Sharing and Offline Play. This allows all users on that console to access your digital games and PlayStation Plus benefits.
This process shares games and PlayStation Plus benefits with accounts on the same console. For sharing across different consoles, the primary activation can be moved, but it must be within the same household to comply with terms of service. This setup allows multiple accounts on the same PS4 or PS5 to access and play shared games without repurchasing them.
