To repost a story on Instagram, the process depends on whether you have been tagged in the story or not: If you are tagged in the story:

• You will receive a direct message notification from the user who tagged you.
• Open Instagram and go to your messages.
• Tap the story message that mentions you.
• Tap the "Add to Your Story" button.
