Important Notes
- Money sent and received via Apple Pay is handled through your Apple Cash card.
- You need to have Apple Cash set up and funded, which you can do by linking a bank account or debit card and adding money to Apple Cash.
- Both sender and recipient must be in the United States and use iMessage to send or receive money through Messages.
- You can also choose a different payment card in Wallet to fund the transfer if you prefer, but by default, it uses your Apple Cash balance
This process makes sending money fast, secure, and integrated directly into your iPhone's messaging and wallet system.
