The Lynk & Co 01 is a compact crossover SUV developed by Lynk & Co, a Chinese- Swedish automaker owned by Geely. It was the first model of the brand, launched in 2017, and is based on the Compact Modular Architecture (CMA) platform shared with the Volvo XC40. The car features petrol engines including a 1.5-litre 3-cylinder and a 2.0-litre 4-cylinder from Volvo, with options for manual or automatic transmissions. It also offers plug-in hybrid versions with an electric range of up to 75 km in recent models. The vehicle integrates modern technology such as a large multimedia screen, driving assistance functions, and a shared digital key system for car access. Production started in China alongside Volvo models but later moved to a dedicated Lynk & Co plant. The Lynk & Co 01 has received strong safety ratings and is offered with innovative ownership models like subscription and car-sharing options in some markets.
