Exercise Maitree is a joint military exercise between India and Thailand. Instituted in 2006, it focuses on counter-insurgency and counter-terrorism operations in jungle and semi-urban environments, conducted alternately between the two countries to enhance cooperation and interoperability between their armies.

Additionally, there is a separate exercise named Shinyuu Maitri, which is a joint air force exercise between India and Japan, started in 2019.
