IAH is the airport code for George Bush Intercontinental Airport, which is an international airport located approximately 22 miles north of downtown Houston, Texas. It is one of the largest passenger hubs for United Airlines. The airport has five runways and covers 10,000 acres of land. It offers scheduled flights to a large number of domestic and international destinations covering five continents. The airport has four terminals (A, B, C, and D) and one international terminal (E) . The primary routes to IAH are John F. Kennedy Boulevard from either the Sam Houston Tollway (Beltway 8) or the Hardy Toll Road, and Will Clayton Parkway from U.S. Highway 59 (Interstate 69) .
