The University of Cincinnati is currently part of the American Athletic Conference (The American) . However, they have accepted an invitation to join the Big 12 Conference, and will officially become a member on July 1, 2023. Therefore, as of September 23, 2023, Cincinnati is in the Big 12 Conference.
