Ed Henry is a former Fox News White House correspondent and daytime news anchor who was fired by Fox News on July 1, 2020, after an investigation into allegations of sexual misconduct in the workplace. The investigation was prompted by a complaint from an attorney about the misconduct, and an outside investigator was hired to look into the matter. After investigating the incident, Fox News fired Henry, citing "sexual harassment, misconduct, and discrimination" as strictly prohibited by the network. In June 2020, Henry was suspended by Fox News following an allegation of sexual misconduct. In addition to his firing, Henry has faced a federal lawsuit alleging that he raped a woman he had "groomed" and "coerced" into having a sexual relationship when she did not comply. Henry has denied the allegation, and his lawyer said he remains confident of his eventual vindication. In 2021, Henry filed a defamation lawsuit against Fox News and its CEO, Suzanne Scott, alleging that he was publicly painted as a "sex criminal" in an attempt to save Scotts reputation. The lawsuit was filed almost a year after Henry was accused of "violently" raping former Fox Business producer Jennifer Eckhart and sending "wildly inappropriate sexual images" to another woman. The suit says that Henry and Eckhart engaged in a consensual relationship that ended in 2017. In May 2022, Henry dropped his defamation lawsuit against NPR and CNN. However, in September 2022, a judge ruled that Henry must face "revenge porn" allegations against his sexual assault accuser.
