Marilyn Manson has been facing numerous allegations of abuse and violence across decades of his career. In February 2021, his former partner, Evan Rachel Wood, accused him of psychologically and sexually abusing her, and more than a dozen other women have since come forward with similar accusations against the musician. Since then, Manson has been dropped by his record label, CAA, and longtime manager Tony Ciulla. In September 2023, Manson was charged with two misdemeanor counts of simple assault for the 2019 incident against a videographer at a concert. In January 2023, he was sued for sexual assault of a minor. Several women have sued the artist, with most being dismissed, although one was settled out of court. Manson has consistently denied sexually assaulting or abusing anyone, claiming that his “intimate relationships have always been entirely consensual with like-minded partners” .
