The Staff Selection Commission conducts the Combined Graduate Level Examination (CGL Exam or CGLE) to recruit Group B and C officers to various posts in top ministries, departments, and organizations of the Government of India. The exam is conducted on a national level and is divided into three phases: Preliminary Test, Mains, and Computer Proficiency Test/Skill Test. The eligibility criteria for the exam is that the candidate must have completed their graduation. There are various SSC CGL posts for which the exam is conducted, and recruitment to Group B and Group C posts in government departments is done through this exam. Some of the posts under SSC CGL exam are Assistant Audit Officer, Assistant Accounts Officer, Assistant Section Officer, Income Tax Inspector, Central Excise Inspector, and Assistant Enforcement Officer. The exam pattern consists of multiple-choice questions, and the syllabus includes topics such as General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, and English Comprehension.
