KL Rahul is an Indian cricketer who was born on April 18, 1992, in Karnataka. His full name is Kannanur Lokesh Rahul. Rahul is a right-handed batsman and a wicket-keeper. He generally plays as an opener in Test and T20I game formats and plays in the middle order in ODIs. Rahul is a regular wicketkeeper in the shorter formats of the game at the international level as well as at the domestic level. He made his cricket debut in the 2010–11 season when he represented India at the 2010 ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup. Rahul is the first Indian to score an ODI century on debut. He is also the first player in T20 history to score a century while batting at the number 4 position or lower. Rahul plays for Indias national team, Karnataka state team, and Kings XI Punjab in IPL.
