The rocket used in Chandrayaan-3 is the Launch Vehicle Mark-3 (LVM 3) . The LVM 3 is a heavy-lift launch vehicle developed by the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) and is capable of launching payloads of up to 8,000 kg to low Earth orbit.
