Tight End University is a football camp exclusive to tight ends, created by NFL Tight Ends George Kittle, Travis Kelce, and Greg Olsen in 2021. The camp is designed to bring the tight end community together to share trade secrets both on and off the field. Tight End University is essentially a skills camp for tight ends to improve their respective games. The players work on blocking drills against bigger defensive linemen and running routes against faster defensive backs. They get classroom instruction before hitting the field to work on physical techniques. The camp is not open to unofficial tight ends, and only invited players can attend. The first camp was held in Nashville, Tennessee, and the second camp was held at Vanderbilt University for three days. The camp has grown each year, with 50 players attending the first year and over 85 players attending the second year. The camp is not an actual university, but it provides an opportunity for tight ends to learn from each other and improve their skills.
