Master Shifu, a character from the Kung Fu Panda franchise, is a red panda. Despite his name, he has no connection to the giant panda family. Red pandas are small animals with big ears and a bushy tail, and their fur has white, red, and dark brown colors. They are not related to raccoons, although some viewers of the Kung Fu Panda movies have mistakenly thought that Master Shifu was a raccoon due to his appearance.
