You can proceed through a roundabout when there is a safe gap in all lanes of approaching traffic, as traffic already inside the roundabout has the right- of-way. Before entering, you must slow down, yield to traffic in the roundabout, and watch for pedestrians at the crosswalk. If the roundabout has multiple lanes, you must also ensure traffic is clear in each lane you will cross. Once a safe gap appears, enter the roundabout, keeping to the right of the center island and stay in the lane you entered until you exit. Always signal right before exiting and watch for pedestrians as you leave the roundabout. Do not stop inside the roundabout unless necessary, and if an emergency vehicle is approaching, exit the roundabout first and then pull over if needed.
