The Andes Mountains run along the western edge of South America, stretching from northern Venezuela down to southern Chile and Argentina. They cross seven countries: Venezuela, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, Chile, and Argentina. They form the continent’s longest mountain range and are home to many high peaks, active volcanoes, and diverse ecosystems.
