Passwords saved on an iPhone can be found in the "Passwords" section within the Settings app. To see them:
- Open the iPhone's Settings.
- Scroll down and tap on "Passwords."
- Authenticate using Face ID, Touch ID, or the device passcode.
- From the list of saved accounts, tap any entry to view the username and password.
This interface combines passwords stored via iCloud Keychain and Apple's Passwords app (introduced in iOS 17). In iOS 18 and later, the dedicated Passwords app also manages passwords and passkeys, making it easy to find and manage saved login details. If the Passwords app is not directly visible, searching "Passwords" in the Settings search bar will bring it up. All saved passwords are stored securely with end-to-end encryption and synced across Apple devices signed into the same Apple ID.
