Alva Beach is located in the coastal town of Alva in Queensland, Australia. It lies 15 km northeast of Ayr in the Burdekin Shire. The beach is situated on a sand spit extending northward to Cape Bowling Green and is part of the Burdekin River delta. Alva Beach is also known as Lynchs Beach and is notable for the Ayr Surf Life Saving Club established there since 1926. The town of Alva is about a 15-minute drive from Ayr and features both holiday homes and permanent residences. The beach offers amenities such as holiday parks, picnic facilities, and opportunities for fishing, surfing, and other water activities.
