The TV series Brassic is filmed primarily in the North West of England, including locations in Greater Manchester, Lancashire, and Cheshire. The fictional town of Hawley is portrayed mainly by the real town of Bacup in the Rossendale Valley, Lancashire. Key Manchester filming locations include The Sharp Project in Newton Heath and the Star & Garter pub near Manchester Piccadilly Station, which doubles as the gang’s hangout, The Crow’s Nest. Vinnie’s shack scenes were filmed in woodlands above Bolton initially, then moved to woods near Arley Hall in Cheshire for ease of filming. Additional filming took place around Bolton, Salford University, and parts of West Yorkshire and even off the coast of Llandudno in Wales for sea scenes.
