The country whose parliament is located in the city of Harare is Zimbabwe. The Parliament of Zimbabwe was historically based at Parliament House in Harare, but in November 2023, the parliament relocated to the New Zimbabwe Parliament Building in Mount Hampden, which is about 25 kilometers northwest of Harare. The old Parliament House in Harare was used for 124 years before the move to the new building designed to accommodate the expanded legislature. So, while the country's parliament was traditionally associated with Harare, its current seat is in nearby Mount Hampden, near Harare, Zimbabwe's capital. However, Harare remains the main city closely linked with Zimbabwe's parliamentary seat.
