Despite his diagnosis, he maintained a resilient and optimistic attitude that deeply inspired the band. His brother Jesse sent Imagine Dragons a message explaining how the band's song "It's Time" had become Tyler's anthem during his treatment. In response, the band dedicated a performance of the song to Tyler at a small concert, sparking a close friendship. After Tyler passed away in 2013, the band and his family founded the Tyler Robinson Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping families facing the emotional and financial hardships of pediatric cancer. The foundation provides support like financial grants for non-medical expenses and serves as a legacy of Tyler's bravery and positive spirit.
