Rashee Rice is suspended for the first six games of the 2025 NFL season due to violating the league's personal conduct policy. The suspension stems from his conviction related to a multi-vehicle chain-reaction collision in Dallas in March 2024, in which Rice admitted guilt to two third-degree felony charges: causing serious bodily injury in a collision and racing on a highway that resulted in bodily harm. He was sentenced to 30 days in jail and five years of probation. The NFL initially wanted a longer suspension but agreed on six games in negotiation with Rice and the NFL Players Association. During this time, Rice cannot practice with the team but can attend meetings and will be eligible to return in Week 7 of the season.
