Robert Redford had four children with his first wife, Lola Van Wagenen. Their children were Scott, Shauna, David (also known as James), and Amy Redford. Tragically, their eldest son Scott died of sudden infant death syndrome at only 2 ½ months old, and their son David James Redford passed away from cancer in 2020. His two daughters, Shauna and Amy, survived him and have pursued careers as filmmakers and artists.
