Nvidia designs its chips in the United States, but most of the actual chip fabrication happens in Asia, primarily at Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) in Taiwan and, for some products, at Samsung’s foundries in South Korea. More recently, advanced Nvidia AI chips such as Blackwell GPUs have also begun production at TSMC facilities in Phoenix, Arizona, as part of a push to add U.S.-based manufacturing.

The silicon chips made in these fabs are then assembled into graphics cards and AI systems by various partners around the world. Companies such as MSI, ASUS, Foxconn, Wistron, and others handle board assembly, cooling, packaging, and system integration in locations including China, Taiwan, and the United States.
