On your iPad, you can find your downloaded files in the Downloads folder within the Files app. To access this:
- Open the Files app on your iPad (you can swipe down on your Home Screen and type "Files" to search for it if you don't see it).
- Tap the Browse tab at the bottom of the screen.
- Under Locations, tap either "iCloud Drive" or "On My iPad" (depending on where your downloads are saved).
- Tap the Downloads folder to see all your downloaded files.
If you just downloaded something via Safari, you can also tap the Downloads button next to the search field within Safari to see your recent downloads quickly. Some files like downloaded photos might appear directly in the Photos app, and downloaded music will be found in the Music app under the Downloaded section. But for general files downloaded from the web or other sources, the Files app's Downloads folder is the main place to look.
