A Haunting in Venice is a 2023 American mystery film produced and directed by Kenneth Branagh from a screenplay by Michael Green, loosely based on the 1969 Agatha Christie novel Halloween Party. It serves as a sequel to Death on the Nile (2022) and is the third film in which Branagh reprises his role as the Belgian detective Hercule Poirot. The film is set in post-World War II Venice on All Hallows Eve and features the return of Poirot, who reluctantly attends a séance at a decaying, haunted palazzo. The palazzo is rumored to be haunted by the vengeful ghosts of children who died there years ago during an outbreak of the plague. When one of the guests is murdered, Poirot must solve the mystery and find the killer before they strike again.

The ensemble cast includes Kyle Allen, Camille Cottin, Jamie Dornan, Tina Fey, Jude Hill, Ali Khan, Emma Laird, Kelly Reilly, Riccardo Scamarcio, and Michelle Yeoh. The film was released in the United States on September 15, 2023, by 20th Century Studios and has grossed $102 million worldwide. It received generally positive reviews from critics.
